I see my role two different ways on wedding day. In the first role, I see it as my job to quietly observe, feel, & place myself in yours & your guests shoes. I seamlessly blend myself into your family & friends & our desires & wants for the day are the same. My second role of the day is to capture the in-between, unseen moments that not everyone will be noticing. I want to capture how the day felt, looked like, & who you are as people. I go into a wedding day knowing that these photos or video that I am capturing will go down in history for generations to look at & remember. I have a creative eye that will capture it uniquely, no two weddings are the same. I am extremely appreciative and grateful that this is my job & that you trust me with your precious love.

Fill out the form on my contact page & I will respond to you within 48 hours! I will ask any questions that I might need to know before sending you a custom proposal. We will chat about the custom proposal & go over any & all questions.
(01) INQUIRE
Once you are ready to move forward, I will send you over my contract, and a 30% retainer will be paid. This confirms that your date is secure. I will then send you a questionnaire that goes in depth so that I can get to know you a little better in preparation for our shoot!
(02) LETS BOOK IT
My turn around time for photo couples & family sessions are 3-4 weeks, & weddings are 6-8 weeks for photo & 10-12 for Super 8.

My style & approach for weddings combine all of my favorite ways to capture: documentary, storytelling, journalistic, & archival. I come into wedding days with a great knowledge of you two as a couple, how you want the day to go & feel, & every detail of your timeline so I am extremely prepared. Knowing this ahead of time allows for stillness, observing, & candidly capturing the day. We have two client calls & more if you need them. Tell me everything & we will collaborate the entire time to make sure we are on the same page. Your investment in me means the world & I am here to serve you the best way I can.

Where do I even begin with Madi…
I found Madi through social media and was instantly in love with her work. I knew I wanted to elope and have a ceremony at home with friends and family and she was able to capture both! She was very organized on how we wanted to capture both days. With multiple phone calls going over every detail because she wanted our day to be exactly what we envisioned it to be. When you elope you really are solo with planning and running the show on your day…but with Madi she helped me with so much more than just taking pictures. She helped me get into my dress, helped with jewelry, and instructing my husband where to go so he didn’t see me in my dress (we stayed in a small cabin). She even brought her incredible family with, where her own Husband officiated for us and her sister was our witness.

Do you travel?
Yes! I have my calendar & bucket list locations on my inquiry page of this website. I absolutely love to travel & will usually bring my husband along with me. Seeing the world truly brings me so much perspective on this life & being in different cities, countries, & states brings a freshness & new excitement into my work. God created a beautiful world & I want to see it! All my travel fees will be included in the custom proposal I send to you.
Will you pose us/tell us what to do?
How I approach posing / capturing sometimes changes depending on the comfortability of the couple or family! If you like the more posed look, I love to lean into that & see your inspo! I rarely grab you & tell you exactly what to do. My poses are more like prompts telling you how to move! I pride myself in my ability to "read the room" & I have a good sense of when I need to step in & when to be a fly on the wall & let the moment unfold.
HOW DO YOU BACK UP EVERYTHING & MAKE SURE IT IS SAFE?
I am always shooting on two SD cards that are copying your photos two times just in case! The second I get home, I export them onto my large hard drive AND my small hard drive. Once your photos or video is finished, I export them to your gallery & it is kept there for 2 years. I will keep a backup on my large hard drive for 3 years.
